Carlisle Adventist College is seeking a reliable, practical and self-motivated Casual Grounds Person to support the presentation, safety and upkeep of our P–12 campus.

This role plays an important part in ensuring our College environment reflects our values of excellence, care and stewardship.

The Role

Reporting to the Principal and working alongside our maintenance team, responsibilities include:

• Mowing, whipper-snipping and general lawn care
• Garden maintenance and landscaping support
• Irrigation system monitoring and minor repairs
• Set up and pack down for College events
• General grounds and minor maintenance tasks
• Ensuring outdoor areas remain safe, clean and presentable

Hours will vary depending on seasonal needs and College projects.

About You

The successful applicant will:

• Be practical, hands-on and physically capable
• Have experience in groundskeeping, landscaping or property maintenance
• Demonstrate initiative and strong work ethic
• Be able to work independently
• Hold (or be eligible to obtain) a Working With Children Blue Card
• Support the ethos and values of a Christian school
