Role Description: 

 Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking to employ a creative, dynamic, expert, Mathematics and Digital Technology Teacher to teach at Carlisle Adventist College.  This is a full-time teaching position commencing in T3 2025.

Application Requirements: 

The successful applicant will hold a relevant teaching qualification (degree level) and be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers to teach in Queensland. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the College.

Job Description

As a School Teacher, your main responsibility will be to deliver high-quality education to our students, while cultivating a positive and engaging Christian learning environment.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Designing and implementing lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students, ensuring inclusivity in education.
  • Employing a variety of teaching techniques and resources to effectively engage students in the learning process.
  • Evaluating student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and offering constructive feedback to aid their development.
  • Working together with colleagues and parents to build a supportive network for students' academic and personal growth.
  • Keeping precise records of student attendance, performance, and other pertinent information in line with school policies.
  • Engaging in professional development opportunities to improve teaching abilities and stay abreast with educational best practices.

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Senior Curriculum
